Well, at least not a paper ticket.
Just wanted to write a fast and dirty run-down of how to use the subway in New York City.
If you’re staying around, you can buy a pass. But if you’re only going to do a couple trips, no need to buy a MetroCard. I live in New York City and I don’t even know how to do that.
Here’s what you do:
You just walk up to one of these bad boys (below, on the left:)
And you tap your Credit Card or cell phone with Apple Pay (above, on the right.)
It will turn green, cha-ching, you can pass through, it charges your card $2.75, and you are ready to use the Subway!
